Questions & Answers

You have questions. We have answers here!

You have questions: How do you connect most meaningfully with the MNU alumni community? How do you update your information? What’s happening at MNU or near you that might be interesting for you and/or your family? How do you maximize your alumni capital? All these questions and more are answered for you here.

Our Alumni Community

MNU identifies an alum as anyone who has had a previous academic relationship with the university, including graduates, former students with at least 12 credit hours, honorary degree holders, and former full-time faculty and staff members who served at the university for at least five years.

Once an individual meets the qualifications of an alum, he or she is automatically a member of the MNU Alumni Association. No dues are required to be a member.

There is so much value in being an MNU alum. The campus is home to experts in almost every field for professional growth throughout your life. MNU is also a source of entertainment and edification – performing arts, cultural events, special speakers, chapel series, worship services, sporting events, and more. MNU can help you get your first dream job or pivot to your next one. We offer continuing education (another degree, an advanced degree, or a professional certificate) to help you take that next step in your career. Our alumni events and activities allow you to connect with inspirational content and other alums to enrich your life or advance your career. Further, MNU is a place where you can practice leading a purposeful life – whether you give your time, talent, treasure, or ties.

The best way to find a former classmate is to contact the MNU Alumni Engagement Team. We will take your contact information and reach out to the desired individual using our database. We will ask that person to contact you.

The MNU Alumni Engagement Team wants to help alumni connect with other Pioneers near them. For instance, we could easily create a Facebook group and invite alums residing in a 50-mile radius to join the group, so you all can connect online and then in person. MNU is also actively creating a network of Alumni Hubs across the United States. To learn more about these hubs, click here.

The MNU Alumni Engagement Team should be one of the first places you turn if you have a question or concern about something related to the university. We also encourage you to reach out to a member of the Alumni Council. Review the list of Council members here.

News & Events

The MNU Alumni Engagement Team is actively looking for more stories to share about the lives and legacies of our alumni. We are collecting most alumni-related stories here, but you may also find them in the MNU Newsroom here.

We work hard to develop events and activities that interest and impact our alumni. Many events are online; others require minimal investment to attend. For a complete listing of upcoming events, visit our Event Calendar.

The Alumni Engagement Team works closely with the Center for Career & Workforce Development to provide students and alumni with access to career services and employment opportunities. To learn more about our collaboration, visit the Alumni page.

This question is one of our favorites! Our goal is to help alumni take another step closer to the university by giving your time, talent, treasure, and/or ties. Learn more about all these opportunities by visiting our Volunteer page.
